This plate was made by the Royal Worcester company in 1996 to commemorate the centenary of the death of William Morris. The design is (very loosely) based on a figure in his Orchard Tapestry. The tapestry itself is in the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, but (I think) not at present on display.
