Very nice shot. I wish my book shelves were so neat. We happen to share a book; Kate Atkinson’s. Not that that is important. Anyway, I love the wood metal and glass contrasts. Great eye!

  2. I came across your blog by another blog. I will start following you. I like your images of details and how you explain their relationships between each other. I don’t know if you will like my blog, because it’s all about nature, but once in a while I will write also.

So pleased you like the blog; hope it will continue to interest you. Your pictures, especially those of birds and butterflies are superb. I have very little experience of photographing wildlife but I know it is very difficult to do well. Your pictures seem to me to show a kind of respectful attentiveness to the creatures that is very impressive; thank you for posting them. And to any wildlife photographer who happens to read this blog- you really should go and see Maria’s work!

Thank you 🙂 We got it in Camden, London years ago.
Mrs T thinks it may have come from the Liberty store in London originally; they certainly sold similar furniture at one time.
