I took a number of different shots of this fruit basket, and two of them suggested the title above…

      I do like that merry go round image Maria; oddly I had wondered about using a title linking it to a big dipper/roller coaster- a similar idea but turned on its side 🙂

    Love the second image and the spotty dotty fruit. I also like the feeling that the fruit is about to fall out of the basket – capturing the idea of movement perfectly.

      Fortunately the light going through the basket mesh created a sort of blurring effect,a bit like you get when something moves too fast for the camera to catch it sharply, or the odd ‘spoke’ effect you get in movie shots of rotating wheels. I think it was perhaps these two features that create the sense of movement in something that was completely still.
